We Deserve Third Spaces
Third spaces help shape and strengthen the social and cultural life of a community. They give us somewhere to become familiar, form friendships, exchange knowledge, and imagine new possibilities together.
Come As You Are invests in that shared infrastructure by creating a consistent place where Black creatives can belong, build relationships, and participate in Detroit’s creative ecosystem.
The Art of the Unstructured Hang
Each week, we gather for music, conversation, games, and unstructured time together. Our Black Arts & Culture Library is also open for browsing.
Bring something you are working on, something you have been curious about, or something you want to yap about.
